Answers
Question 1:
(a) is incorrect because Telkom never paid a darn thing for the SAT-3
cable. Taxpayers funded it.
(b) is incorrect - in the last financial year, Telkom made R9,3 billion
(c) is speculation and since we don't want to get sued, we have to mark
this answer as 'incorrect'
(d) is correct
Question 2:
(a) (b) (c) and (d) are all correct!
Question3:
While any of these answers could be correct, we feel
that (b) is
most correct. Bonus smart points if
you know who Andile Ngcaba, Jay Naidoo, and Nat
Kekana are
Question 4:
(c) is most correct. Minus points if you answered (d)
Question 5:
(b) is most correct. Poison Ivy has been hard at
work since 1999, protecting Telkom's profits instead of protecting her
country
Question 6:
(a) is most correct. Telkom usually doesn't care if their adverts are a
bunch of lies, so long as they are pretty. Just ask the Advertising
Standards Authority of South Africa (ASASA) how many of Telkom's
adverts they have pulled due to false and/or misleading claims. It must
e mentioned that in this case, the 'advert' is true.
Question 7:
(a) (b) (c) and (d) are correct. Just ask Gregg Stirton of Hellkom
fame!
